Kerry Kocher:   Kerry is the owner, manager and instructor at Stonefence Farm. He is USEF licensed "R" Hunter/Jumper  judge, "R" Hunter course designer and "R" Jumper course designer. Kerry has been in the horse business for over 40 years. He has been very successful over the years, starting from his beginning on his family run facility--Kocher Farm. He taught in Tennessee a few short years while Kathy attended vet school and once she graduated they moved back to Centre County where he opened and now maintains Stonefence Farm. He has trained, shown and sold many horses.  Pictured below Kerry is riding Tigon, whom he showed through the Green and Regular Working hunter divisions back in the 80's and early 90's. 

Kathy Kocher:  Kathy has been married to Kerry since 1985. Kathy and Kerry first met when Kathy took riding lessons at Kocher Farm while she was an undergraduate student at Penn State University.  Kathy is primarily a small animal veterinarian with her own practice in State College, the State College Veterinary Hospital.  Kathy does the routine vaccinations, dewormings and routine veterinary work at Stonefence Farm including minor lamenesses and suturing. Major equine medical issues are referred to the nearby Centre Equine Practice.

Kathy and Kerry have three children, Kelsey, Kaitlyn and Kenzie. All three children have been raised on horseback and have competed since the leadline division. Kelsey's interests leaned towards competing and becoming an equine professional, while Kaitlyn and Kenzie preferred to enjoy their ponies on a more casual level.
